Dublin Metropolitan University is an international private university registered in the European Union in the Republic of Cyprus. The registration number is 168872. Registered office: 86, Athinon, 3040, Nora Court, 301-302, Limassol, Republic of Cyprus. DMU was founded in Ireland in 1998. 

Its strength is in its growing faculty which has adjunct members and centres in a number of countries, linked by electronic and conventional communication. DMU is an external degree-awarding institution that operates solely through recognised affiliated colleges. The new DMU e-campus will be operated only through carefully selected affiliated colleges and learning centres.
